Today I bought my wedding dress.
Admittedly, it's still sinking in - that there will be no more dress-searching, and that what I ended up with is quite different from what I envisaged wearing. But there was no doubt that when I tried on the fifth gown of the day (at Raffaele Ciuca), it was The Dress. A lot of people had told me that when I found my wedding dress, I'd know. I poo-pah'ed them, not quite believing in the sentamentality of it all, but I take it back... I had my moment, misty-eyed and all!
Sadly, no pictures of my dress in the shop, but I *did* find a similar dress online. I now have to wait six long months for my dress to be made, before my fitting. I still can't believe I have a wedding dress!
