I don't know if I told the story last week of Matt opening a brand new box of cereal, and two moths flying out?

Well, I complained to Nestle and was today sent out a cheque for $10 and a letter addressing my concerns. Although they DID accept that insects in their products were "a known problem" (concerning within itself...), it's still a worry that they continue to nothing about the problem than to keep it quiet.

That is so disgusting... I don't know about in Australia, but in the states we have the Better Business Bureau, and you can make complaints about local and national businesses. That way you could spread the word about this buggy problem. At least you were recompensed, if only for ten dollars. ????? · 2008-02-11: 21:55

very interesting! that is disturbing. at least they sent you a check for it! we found a lot of dead ants in a cereal box about 10 years ago and all we got was "you can't prove that it happened on our end, so sorry". ????? · 2008-02-11: 22:24
