Relief Teaching

I got my first early-morning call from RELAY, the teaching agency today - and was sent to a Kinder only in the next suburb from my own centre. Considering I only teach short sessions with my group of 4-5 year-olds, the 7.5hr day (yes, that's ONE session) was practically like long daycare!

... Although I'll admit that had a pretty decent program, so I can't go knocking the Kinder completely. But it *was* far too long for many of the children, some of which were still 3. Throw two sets of (identical) twins and a set of triplets into the mix, and it was a challenging day. Going back to my own group of children today was a great relief! :P
