Mum's Garden: Florals

Azalea bloom hidden amongst the cacti area of the garden.

Rosebud in focus...

...as is the bloom itself.

The name of this rose is 'Double Delight', one of our favourites. It has the most gorgeous smell, and Mum's had great success in growing them.

I forget the name of the bulb this flower came from (can you help?)

Part 2 of yesterday's post, some of the florals in my Mum's garden. Roses feature heavily, as they are her pride and joy, along with different bulbs and flowering cacti. Unfortunately, as it is the end of a (hot) Summer, there were only a few bloom out in which to entice you all with. As the Winter flush emerges, I'll be sure to update. :)

Wow - Thank you for posting these. I want to plant a Rose/Lilly garden this year (My mom name is Rose, and my mother in law is Lillie). I thought it would be a nice tribute to them. I love #3 and will try to plant #4. I will keep you posted.

Great pics, love #3. Tigers play in a little over 2 hours. After midnight here. I can get it via web radio. May have to see the score in the morning.

I love the third shot - great macro - so much so, you can see the hint of a cobweb off to the right of the rose, if I'm not mistaken :)
Your mum should be congratulated on keeping those roses alive in our current water conditions!
