[The teaching agency doesn't call, so I have the day (!!!) to myself. Cue much excitement. I check in on my newly-planted garden bed. Looks small and insignificant at the moment, but that will change!]

[A last-minute appointment with my hairdresser sees me emerge with newly-layered, trimmed and straight hair. What a change! It's a shame it will be back to curly within a couple of days.]

[Grocery shopping yields a free sample from a very nice lady, who tells me these taste like Mars Bars. She was right!]
