[On the way, we discover a community festival devoted to fostering relations between Australia and Oman, with our Lord Mayor speaking. The vibrant colours of the women's fashion around is breath-taking. Sadly, I only manage a few stealthy photographs before heading to lunch - I was trailing behind Matt's friends... who had food on their mind... as it was! :P]

Some of Matt's friends were up from Hobart for the weekend (see pervious entry for more information), so on Saturday we ventured into the City for Game On, a history of gaming exhibition. Very, very good - we spent hours there playing old games and reminiscing about all things geeky (in fact, to unleash the inner geek feels more "me" than the teaching persona I have over me these days - after all, these are my roots).
The day ends with a sunset over the Yarra, tiring but satisfying. :)
