Lady Gowrie, Part 2

2008.05.20
[I get to the workshop early in order to snare one of those elusive 8-hour carpark spots. Victory is mine! I celebrate with a little Animal Crossing before it starts.]

[We get a guided tour of the Gowrie outdoor playspaces... this is one of my favourite of the cozy nooks they have created, and something easy to replicate in my own setting.]

[The bark on this tree fascinated me, in both its texture and colours.]

[Logs around a paved path, in the 3-5 year-olds playground]

[And I had the opportunity to revisit the interesting tree that I found last time I was there. It is looking much more barren now!]

I attend another workshop today at the Lady Gowrie Centre on indoor-outdoor programming (presenting children with a choice on how they wish to learn), something I have been wanting to learn how to implement properly for years now.

Not everyone's cup of tea, I am excited about the prospect and planning how I am going to present this new information to both staff and families at the Kindergarten I teach. Time to step outside of my comfort zone a little. :)
