Although it doesn't look like very much on this photograph, today was one-of-those-days where every time I catch a glimpse of my (fading) surgical scars, I am reminded of the frustrations involved with treatment at the moment. Very much looking forward to all of this ending and - come September - I will be extremely happy!

this reminds me of a story a friend was telling earlier today about the bumblebee. The way the story went, she described how once people saw how puny the itsy-bitsy wings on a big bumblebee were, they simply refused to believe that such an oddly proportioned thing could fly!
