The Root of it All

A long time ago at my Mum's house, there was a clump of bushes that Dad had planted and she hated. When my parents separated (about ten years ago), one of the first things Mum did was to dig up the bushes. Only a few roots stretching along the lawn still remain to this day, as a reminder of the bushes that were once growing there.

(And three months today until I walk down the aisle!) :)
