It doesn't look like much work, but I spent a couple of hours clearing ivy from the side fence (as requested by the unit's owners... who actually planted the thing many years earlier).
Although some people think that ivy can look pretty, it's deceptively weedlike in its growth pattern. It's just not worth the upkeep! :/

Im one of those people that think its pretty :P Call me a silly romantic. Not having a single patch of green at my apartment though makes me partial to thinking any weed is prettier than the concrete i have to content with. I have to say though, I dont evny the work you must have put in to rid yourself of it.
