Montsalvat

Montsalvat, an artists colony (formed in the 1930s) lies north of Melbourne and has some absolutely beautiful architecture and scenery. Most pictures are better enlarged, as the reduced size really takes away from the beauty of the area.

An online friend and her son invited me out to Montsalvat (an old artist colony in Eltham, the northern outskirts of Melbourne) for the morning. Even though the weather was threatening to spoil the day, it was such a beautiful space and I want to go back there and plan another expedition.
