Me (after getting bedraggled from the jetboat ride... thank goodness for a waterproof layer over most of my clothes! Matt, unfortunately, wasn't as lucky, having to walk around afterward with the seat of his jeans saturated)

The gorgeous blue skies of the day before have vanished, leaving a cold, wet and miserable-looking day (and helping me to realise what a snow-covered Queenstown in Winter would look like). Matt and I are set to hang-glide off Mt Coronet this morning, but it's cancelled due to the weather and rescheduled for the following day.
Venturing into town and looking for something else to do, we come across a list of water activities (if you can't beat them, join them) and decide on the Shotover Jet. This turns out to be heaps of fun and fills in part of the day (as well as an adrenaline boost!).
