Extremely hot weather was forecast for Melbourne for the weekend, which has resulted in some of the biggest - and most ferocious - fire outbreaks our country has ever seen. My heart goes out to everyone caught up in these frightening times.

In sheer contrast, Matt and I find ourselves in Launceston, Tasmania, for his cousin's wedding - dodging most of the weather and staying relatively comfortable. These tomatoes were growing next to our motel room on Friday.
