It was a day that started out so ful of promise... editing pictures from my birthday weekend (
including Matt's best friend's wedding), a decent day at work... and then it all turned sour.
At about 7pm, a bolt of lightning struck very close to our house, taking out our power and with it destroying our computer. 'Destroying' may be too strong a word, but it definitely left it inoperable.
We're still sorting out the problems (it looks to be the motherboard or CPU at the moment), which is why I haven't been able to update here and why it looks as though I've taken a holiday from Photoblogging.
I'll try to be back as soon as I can (and will have a bucketload of photos to post with it). In the meantime, don't forget about me! ;)
