I had an in-service to go to this afternoon, so it meant a day away from the children I teach (dare say I was a little nervous in how they'd cope in hands of another capable teacher?).
So I took advantage of the morning and went to go and formally change my name (to Matt's surname). However, after waiting in Births, Deaths & Marriages for 45min, I was told that there's no legal obligation to change my name - nor do I need to... our official marriage certificate is all I need to change any legal document (including license/passport) apparently. Well, that's what I learnt today...
