Well... I finally went and did it, chopping my curls off after work today. Nervous because I'd never been to that salon before (closer to home than where I went previously) and the attention to detail was so lovely. It cost an extra $10 than my old salon, but the little extras like a stint in a massage chair, scalp massage and free hot drinks certainly made up for it.

Definitely a lot of fun, even if nerves nearly got the better of me!
