Muslims across the world are preparing celebrate the annual festival of Eid al-Adha or the Festival of Sacrifice, which marks end of the Haj pilgrimage to Mecca by hundreds of millions of Muslims around the world slaughtering goats, sheep and cattle in commemoration of the Prophet Abraham's readiness to sacrifice his son to show obedience to Allah.
