Malaysia Hindu Holi Festival 2011
March 20, 2011
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Malaysian Hindu devotees colored by powder thrown while celebrating “Holi,” the festival of color at the Lakshmi Narayan temple in Kuala Lumpur, March 20, 2011.
Holi, also called the Festival of Colours, is a popular Hindu spring festival observed in India at the end of winter season on the last full moon day of the lunar month, which usually falls in the later part of February or in March. The tradition of playing with colours on Holi draws its roots from a legend of Radha and the Hindu God Krishna.
p/s: Todays I'm not only hunting for photos but we also joins the festival and play with colors.
