During Lila's first week at home, we've been very busy and experienced lots of "firsts." We've practiced opening both of our eyes for short periods of time...
We met Franklin, which went very smoothly. It worked out well because Franklin was exhausted from playing at the kennel for 4 days, so both he and Lila took the introduction in stride.
We're still making him keep his distance, but he's very sweet and protective of her, running to her whenever she makes a peep.
We sleep more and more...The other major activity we do these days is nurse every couple hours, but no pictures of that online!
Franklin, in recognizing his demotion in family status, has found a new buddy in Grandma and follows her around the house most of the time, when not checking on Lila's cries...
We meet new friends who come to visit (here with Bridget)! We also have been so blessed by friends who have generously brought us meals and flowers.
