These are a month old by now ... I'm glad to have canning season behind us. My canner was a fun toy while it lasted, though. Besides the noise factor, Kelyn's been experimenting with containers of any kind, which means we have to be prepared for anything (apples in our dresser drawers, toys in our storage tubs, etc.)

"I love apples more, though!" Indeed, Kelyn would eat at least an apple a day if his Official Diaper Changers didn't set a limit short of that. He eats everything but the stem, and then begs for another.

He's just so cute, but he also looks so grown-up here. He has become very independent, and while he lets us comb his hair or feed him with a spoon, it isn't long before he needs to take over.
