Life's too short. I'll take both!

We wear many hats! We’re mothers, fathers, teachers, students and the list goes on! But what about those big outrageous hats that we always dreamed about wearing; like becoming an entrepreneur or quitting your current job and traveling around the world. And I wonder if as we get older we forget or push to the side those hats once dreamed of. I think every so often adults should play dress up again.

my post for new year's eve was similar to this - well, the theme of dressing up that is. I change my mind about things so often that i need a whole warehouse to store my hats! i've already had different 5 jobs in the 1 and 1/2 years i've lived in chicago... i wear different hats to figure out which one i want to keep on for awhile :-)

great post and I so so so agree .. I said I wanted a tiara but I love all kinds of hats and I think that would make a great theme one day .. everyone with a hat or a pic of someone with a hat ..:) love this pic ..saved the first :)

Nice post. I do think that somewhere in our 30's - 40's we tend to slow the hat changes down.... it's one thing I think is great about being mid 50's, you can try on more hats again! So don't give up those hats! :-)

I've never been to a hat store before so thanks for taking me there. I'm not a hat person. I guess I am a woman of many hoods. My coat always seems to have one when I need one.

I DO think women especially push aside those "dream" hats for the sake of the "here and now"-nurture kinds of hats. All of these hats are what makes our lives sweet. Understanding the way to wear those hats (or hoods) in order to create appropriate priorities and establish life-long happiness is the real key to quality living. I need ice cream after all that philosophy!
