You said you'd do WHAT.... a moment of insanity obviously, THAT will be your defense, "insanity"! :-) How exciting to have a new camera! This blogging thing gets expensive doesn't it? I used to be perfectly satisfied with "anything"... yesterday JR had to go out and by me a super duper tri pod because NOW I want to take night shots with HIS camera.... it never ends! :-) We will all look forward to seeing many FINE shots from CeCe!

I'm so happy for you. I'm saving up for a camera, too. When time gets closer for me, I'll ask you how its going with CeCe. Have fun.....and stay focused at work tomorrow...lol!

WAHOO!!!! I loved the comment about "cooking and cleaning and not complaining!" Your husband did the right thing to print that email! =) I'm so excited for you, and happy to have given you a little (and hopefully good!) advice. I think some people get so caught up in 'brands' that they buy certain cameras based solely on name brand alone. The important thing is to hold them as you did! Cece picked you my friend, not the other way around! ;) Congratulations again buddy ... can't wait to see more of your shots with your new photoblogging companion!

HOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY Im So happy you chose a Sony.....welcome to the club.....Memebers? - me and you...lol....my A700 is my baby. I am SO happy with that camera. Well done for looking beyond the "brand"......Sony have some fabulous history and technology behind them thanks to Minolta. But your right,..most important thing is the feel.Cant wait to see you photos !

Allison, CeCe is beautiful!!... and your first pictures with her turned out fantastic.... the pictures of Braden and Katie are adorable!! I'm excited to see all the pictures that are to come :)

oh my gosh!! that is beyond exciting!! and i have to admit to being very jealous! :-) i'm saving for a digital SLR too. and i think it's quite appropriate to name your camera - it's like a pet! and seriously, can katie have more gorgeous eyes?? and that killer smile! that girl is hot stuff - you better watch out for those boys who are probably already after her, momma. ;-)
