No Sledding for Us

Today we had an unsuccessful attempt at going sledding. Since this is my first time living further north with kids, I didn't realize you have to buy a sled when if FIRST snows. Otherwise EVERY single store is out.

We went to three stores no luck. By this time Kaitlyn is crying, Braden is sleepy, and I'm so tired of being in the house I refuse to give up.

Our last hope was a grocery store with a left over box. Yipee! We got the box and were on our way to the hills.

Withen 30 seconds all hope was gone again. I slipped and fell on the ice, Braden fell, Kaitlyn dropped the box down the hill which was a death trap! I felt like we had entered the Twilight Zone!

So we headed home, Kaitlyn grabbed an old box went outside and pretended
she was sledding on the ground. Poor Baby

Next winter we will be more prepared. :)
