hooray! something that isn't a damn hoverfly or a slug! at last!! sure, it's just a set of two, and the second is in bad light, but i'm pretty proud of the first ^ ^
how cute is that butterfly, eh?
this guy was pretty busy, so out of 20 shots of him only this one was any good (lots of butt shots and blurs).
the first is a small copper (lycaena phlaeas, apparently), and although it's really common it took me ages to find it on any british butterfly listings. the second, as previously stated, is a cabbage white.
