Smurfalicious!

I was asked to design and facilitate a motivational retreat for the sophomores of St. Mary's High. It's where my daughter attended and some of the teachers know I used to do this sort of thing. You know, kind of like Matt Foley, motivational speaker.

We did a Olympics - 300 students in teams competing for prizes at krazy events like flying paper airplanes into garbage cans, shooting hoops with beachballs, eating bubble gum/chocolate frosting/sardine canapes... really sophisticated challenges. Seriously, the students had some much-needed fun and it turned out to be a great day!

One of the stranger events was called "Smurf Juice". Say what? It's a deep blue, milky beverage with curdly chunks of smurf floating in it. A player has to drink a cup of it to score a point. I'm told its horrible! To prove they actually drank the concoction, they have to open their mouths and show a blue tongue. Hence the photos!

Oh yeah, it's called Smurf Juice because we say that it's made from ground up Smurfs. Smurfs are blue. Please don't notifiy Greenpeace. Or Bluepeace.
