an amazing weekend continued...

Matt and I both had a weekend free of work, which was awesome. We watched the debates on Friday night. I think this is the very first Presidential debate i have ever watched. (We don't have a TV so thanks to our friend Ben we were able to watch them)

in college on student leadership teams while doing team building events i remember a common question often being asked 'if you could go to dinner with 3 'famous' people who would you go with?' (they can be people from the past) If i had to answer that question today i would say, Mother Teresa, Senator Obama, and my RD/mentor from college. I assume that because i am married Matt gets to come automatically. You know, the two shall be as one... :) :)

Saturday we went to the Zoo. It was such a fun day and the zoo was great!! Oh and of course we had a very much needed visit to Starbucks! Venti ice tea lemonade with no sweetner and a venti iced latte are the current favorites for the two of us.

The gorilla's were AWESOME!! There were five of them in this area and they were showing off for us today. I am not sure if there were playing tag or tackle football (without the football) but it was very entertaining to watch.

The giraffe's were at the end of our big loop. Saturday ended up being a very warm day in KS, i think in the mid 90's so i was ready to get back inside.

Our new favorite: Chipotle!! Well i am not sure if it is our 'new' favorite. I think we've been saying that for about a year now!! I am so thankful they have Chipotle in KS and I am thankful that it is an hour drive to the nearest... Otherwise we'd be eating Chipotle for dinner, all the time!! :)
