MFA, and Dinner at Aaron's

After spending a long week with out-of-town friends who I see once every 18 months or so, I curled up on Aaron's couch with friends I see regularly. He hosted a lovely little dinner party, and the familiarity of food and friends nurtured my heart. And Aaron and Pete (friend from college, and Maureen's roommate) met for the first time ... and no they are not twins, but they got along like brothers - no surprise to anyone who knows both of them! Oh, and also, there was some wine.

That afternoon, I had the pleasure of taking my dear Lou, whom I met when we were both art history majors at Ithaca, to Boston's beloved Museum of Fine Arts, and to the spectacular Titian, Tintoretto and Veronese exhibit. We had a lovely afternoon before fighting traffic to get the Californians back to Logan Airport

Much to my utter dismay, this room was closed off all afternoon until I basically stared down one of the guards, who let us in so that we could enjoy one of the most incredible rooms in the world, as long as we were careful to avoid getting whacked with a table or a chair or two as an incredibly fast and efficient crew set up for an event.
