One of the perks of being a Gardner Museum volunteer is special tours of Boston's beautiful gems. We spent a lovely morning exploring Trinity Church - a gem among gems!

We got to listen in on a choir rehearsal. Perfectly incredible.

I learned that the two large figures are Moses and St. Peter. Love all the dark wood, red and gold!

The organ, and John LaFarge's spectacular stained glass windows. Glass is so hard to photograph, so you will HAVE to go to Trinity to see these beauties.

A few years ago, Trinity Church went through a renovation and restoration project, and part of that included offices and guest services (gift shop, etc) in the basement. The pyramid in the corner is the structural support for one of the four main piers in the church.
