Aha, counter-transference on a photographic plane... Fascinating snippet of a Florida photographer's life. I wonder which one of your alternative explanations is the truth. BTW, you instantly made yourself far more appealling by owning up to the bag-check/guilt response. Few of us have your scruples or integrity!

Haha....love the shots and your story!! You really caught some interesting poses and now you make me wonder if he was an undercover cop. Great that you got the shots.....when I see an interesting-looking stranger I want to shoot I'm either hesitant to point the camera at them....or I do it so quickly and surreptitiously the shot doesn't turn out.

Haha, or do this : He has dreamed for years to be a famous model and saw his chances here. Not knowing what to do he took that small radio and turned around so that you could admire and photograph him at all sides ... ;o) Great post Piyalli!!
