This is the first 10 images of a project I've called "my World".
The pictures are all taken in the area close to my home, while i was walking with my 3year old son. Exploring the neighbourhood. Searching for scenes to capture and places to add my own imagined history to. I am lucky to live in an area with lots of such places. |
These pictures have all been edited in Photoshop before they were published here. Some more than others.
This has been necessary to get the right expression in the image, and to show what I see before I shoot. Nothing here is coincidental. And this is just the beginning. |
Rita Eriksen.
A local singer. Not my kind of music, but it seems she had a consert on a stage near me this weekend. I thougth her poster looked good on the board. Surrounded only by the remains of previous ad's. |

Nobody knows who owns this property. It is not marked on any map, and according to local authorities it does not excist.
Still I managed to shoot this picture a few days ago. During the late medieval times terrible things happend in this building. Actions so barbaric that we can hardly imagine. Religious sexrituals and human sacrifice. Torture and death of the innocent in ways we will never understand. It became so bad that the earth created a demon and gave birth to it straight through the cold soil in the cellar of the house. Nobody knows how, but all acts of terror came to an end shortly after the arrival of the demon. The religous leaders and other persons responsible for the cruelty committed were all found dead. Some drowned and some mysteriously fell from cliffs. The demon never cease to excist, but takes physical form only when evil is approaching. The last time it happend was a in a few short periodes during world war II. Untill next time it lingers in the nature that created it, and can only be seen by a few. It then appears as a blurred consentration of air. It's like you can feel it more than see it. You just know it is there.. |
