One thing i learned from this? you have to give the dragon a dollar at least as a sign of token and goodluck and to let them posed for a while for a shooting session , i dont know that ! if i know it would be a better angle shot...
|
this one i learned a lesson again , the aperture should be F8 to make the DOF deep and show the building as a background the result would be neat is'nt it?...
|
I guess i am too close ? ha ha!
|
Hmmm i almost mistaken her to be Jessicashan,,,ha ha! sorry jessica just kidding!

Great pictures & comments. I was busy this year and missed the celebrations in our local chinatown for the first time in many years. Thanks for posting

Amazing colors in these shots! I think the DOF in #2 is fine, it helps to focus the attention on the dragon and not the background.

Great shots of dragon in #2...you are too critical of your own work :-) Always striving to be better right? Enjoyed this part of the parade.

Nice set again Rob.., I do find no2 quite apppealing with the shallow dof! But i think the dragon is about 1/3 stop overexposed! Thanks for sharing!

Nice set! i dont think a larger f number in 2 would have improved the picture..now the subject is free from the background thru the nice DOF. .. I also think you have to darken it a bit (check histogram)
