Another New Toy

We finally replaced the Pontiac Vibe which was the subject of a previous entry. I found this one on Wednesday in Toronto after much looking.
This time we went the cushy route and got a 2003 Subaru Outback VDC. It has a horizontally opposed 3.0 litre 6 cylinder engine, 212hp and is very smooth. The drive system is very advanced with fully integrated variable torque distribution traction control, skid control, stability control, ABS and just about anything else to keep you going where you want to go safely. That, and the best crash test rating there is will keep my valuables safe.
It also has a Momo leather and mahogany steering wheel to match the mahogany dashboard and leather interior. The 11 speaker McIntosh sound system is the best I've ever heard in a car.
I think we're going to like it.
