Unlike many others that have posted here, I like #3 best. They're all very good of course, but there's something about that one in particular that draws me. Perhaps its the mysterious that draws me. What's behind that door? What's around that corner? What's down that narrow street? It's so very different from the regimented requirements we have here. In the townhome complex we live in, there's no room for different. Conformity is the rule. Everyones home must be the same as everyone elses, The same colour, the same curtains, the same door, the same light fixture. Where's the individuality? The humanity? My wife and I are wonderfully daring, we've hung a ladies summer straw hat in the carport. Scary isn't it? Wonder if we'll hear about it from council? I suppose I make it sound worse than it is. They just want to make sure that no body allows their place to become junky and lower everyone elses investment and right to live in pleasant surroundings. Ah well, I shouldn't whine. After all, I chose to live here. Maybe I'm just a closet liberalist rebelling against authority...... PAPADAN · 2010-02-28: 20:52
