Apice is a small
ghost town near Benevento. Evacuated after the two earthquakes of 1962 and 1980, today it is possible to walk among the old houses left open and unguarded. The lamp-posts, the windows, the grilles, the alleys and the front doors talk about southern Italy of the after war, crossed by an unreal and suspended silence.
