The farmers thought that as we learn to do the pruning so good and that we learned it really fast, they decided to put us (now the whole gruop of 9) today in another hectare to do more, but this time was Shiraz that was planted last year, so the vines are very little so it was really tired to get up and get down to cut the branches.
but besides the hard work and be at the sun for hours, it was really fun i dont regret of doing it, actually my regret it will be not doing anything.
After that we went to eat and no much happened ja ja only that we were making jokes about the work we just did, that maybe the grapes wouldnt grow! ji ji.
Anyway, the next activitie was to know another part of the winery where they elaborate the wine and thay explains us the process of the vintange.
(i decided not to take any photos about this part ´cause in August im going to come back for the harvest)
as we continued the "tour", we pass to the wine cellar where they keep their most fine wine wich name is "Casa Grande" (Big House) that is made from Shiraz, the interesting about this wine is that the barrels are always new, they never use the same barrel twice for a Casa Grande.
Then we follow to the distillation part, that where they make brandy that comes from the wine but with a totally diferent process.
But another thing happened at night and it was that we make a bonfire (it was my first one) and it was really funny to watch my friend trying to burn it but at the end he did it.
We cooked sausages, drank a lot of wine and i totally feel that i was on a mountain ´cause at far we hear some coyotes and i didnt belive it but it was true! they were howling, at the beginning it was a little spooky but then i enjoy it but the thing that make this night perfect it was the sky ´cause i´ve never seen so many stars the sky it looks like space i mean it was glitter so beautiful!
