I got my new Tracy Joy bag today.. and I couldn't be more pleased! Everything FITS! lol Obviously, my camera is NOT in the bag.. lol I am in LOVE. :0) This is one very happy and satisfied customer. I've been saving this idea for a day when I couldn't come up with a photo. Since my foot is in a cast, and I am not supposed to be up and about, I figured today was the day. If you are a regular on my post, you know that I broke my foot at my son's wedding Saturday. I have a temporary cast on and I will be visiting an orthopedic doctor tomorrow. I have stayed off my foot as much as I possibly could, rather than should. I'll let you know the verdict tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll get the foot boot, and not be in a cast. Today I sewed this bag. It was my first attempt sewing. Ever. And the fabric I got wasn't wide enough for the pattern so I free-styled it, yo! It took all afternoon, but I'm so proud of myself.

On the way home from work, I headed to Walgreens to pick up some things. Since I tend to frequent this store on a semi-regular basis, I decided to take a picture of the sign. Unfortunately, by the time I got out of the store and put my bags in my car...the lit signed was immediately turned off. Blah! This particular Walgreens closed at 10 PM...but it was about 9:40 PM or 9:50 PM at the time. If I didn't know any better, I'd say someone was trying to sabotage my project. ;) So...when I got home, I just snapped a photo of my evidence of being at Walgreens. While I was in there, I noticed some Flamin' Hot Funyuns. I like Funyuns...and I like Flamin' Hot Cheetos. I was intrigued...so I gave this a try. It wasn't horrible...and I think I would eat it again if it was around...but I don't foresee it lasting that long as a product. =P

What's in your diaper bag? The bag is Harajuku Lovers, large tote size in the Sweet Escape print. I've got a handful of diapers and pull ups. One shirt and two pairs of extra pants. My Harajuku Lovers wallet. My old point and shoot camera, a Sony DSC-P200, which I rarely use. A couple of leftover Valentine's Day candies. Two packets of colorful fish crackers. And a bottle of Excedrin.

Mom came up on campus and spent the night. I had so much fun! We went shopping at a local publisher's-overstock bookstore, craft stores, an amazing bead/jewelery store, ate at a Chinese buffet, and laughed so much. I'm going home in four days for spring break, but it was so nice for mom to come up, anyway. Today mom left, but we still went shopping. She bought me some nice shirts (which are going to be photo 55) at Kohl's and a few snacks to hold me over until Thursday. And, for lunch, we ate at the Chinese buffet. I'm so full, it is definitely a sin, but I'm still happy.
