Palermo feels so urban and gritty in your photos -- but not without cultural charm. The fish heads are comical (is that a swordfish or marlin?), but your 8th shot of the fish vendor refreshing the fish is the winning shot of the bunch. The motion in the water and in his hands tells the whole story that you reference in your quote about la Vucciria.
