This is a great place to take a picture of the front range. It is right outside my office, so I can pop right outside the car and quickly take a few shots before starting my work day. But the last time I took a couple of shots here, the police were concerned that I was holding up traffic by taking a picture, and then perhaps they weren't quite sure what I was doing after all. They stayed around til I was done, to make sure I wasn't going to make trouble, LOL.
This morning, the roads were very slippery and I was not about to stand in the middle of the road and risk playing bumper cars. The sun came out and shined on the mountains and foothills, lending the pink color. And then, I realized as I was done, or thought I was done, that I hadn't used the telephoto and had to go back....worth it though....

Steve, you are the man! I totally appreciate the commotion that you must sometime cause to get that good shot!! A man has to do what a man has to do!!!! LOL. A great shot!!
