Today, we had a new millennial sing-along @ Project A. Equipped with downloaded music from the net onto a CD, with video included (if necessary), and lyrics printed up in multiple copies. It all started when E.T. (Extraterrestrial) played on the radio while we were busy packing the lunches a number of weeks ago. It seemed that some of us could sing 1 or 2 of the chorus lines, but not much else surprisingly. I suggested we get the words, so we knew what to sing the next time, and Logan thought we should get the music also and sing along.
As a devoted X-File fan, I found what words I knew (alien abduction, into the light) to be crafted into quite a cleverly written spoof with a very catchy tune. Besides, Katy Perry & Kanye in one song? -- perfectly matched for this personified duet. So we finally had the sing-along today and no one is leaving their daytime arrangement, whether pay or volunteer.
