Out and About

Estate Sale. How many times do you pass a sign like that? This one was just a few blocks from my house. Since it was a low key day, with some free time, I thought I'd go by and have a look. Mid-century lamps with giant original lampshades! There were at least 5 more pairs, equally as outlandish, dated, and yes, period pieces. But the prices were equally outrageous, so I let them remain at the sale. Interestingly, almost everything else had sold, even at the prices, which were not in time warp.... On to Costco, for water bottles and etc. This server, here named Shell, was quite vivavious, and wanted us to try her chicken and salad. I just had to get her picture, and perhaps make her a blog-star. She, of course, had to freshen up for this picture, and her stardom, LOL......
