Passover, Easter and Valentine's In That Order

I went to my supermarket today to survey the matzoh offerings with it being Passover. Perhaps I might make a matzoh brei for breakfast tomorrow. Just perhaps. I was really thinking that this photo would be the closest I would get to it, but they were out of Matzoh. Out. and the holiday just started. Reminds me.......cause usually they have so much left over they have to give it away. All they had was this "matzoh style squares" -- what on earth is that? and gluten free? Below: They had PLENTY of honey cake mix and sponge cake mix. I don't think there was a run on those cake mixes. And I certainly didn't buy one either......

But go around the corner on the next aisle, and all hell is breaking loose with the Easter ware. More colorful Easter baskets than you can find candy for. Did you get yours?

At the Project Angelheart shindig Thursday night, Victor wanted to know if I was getting ready to buy the Easter chocolate bunnies on Monday for halfprice -- the nerve of him, LOL -- so I had to look and see what kind of chocolate bunnies were there, just in case. Here were 2 of my favorites....

And speaking of that half-price Valentine chocolate, Sam and I just had the last one today. Just in time for Easter bunnies!!!
