This young calf was cought jumping in the Himalayans valleys of Laddakh. Liffe there is harsh, for men and animals. A calf born during the night looses his mother in the morning, the cows go and graze miles away. They come back in the evening. The youngs have to wait the evening to get a bit of warmth and food. This young calf took me for his mother, he followed me all the time I was there.

Interesting that you have been to Laddakh. I've heard its a beautiful place. Need to visit some time. BTW he does look quite lonely! Poor thing!
