Love the landscape in the third shot and love #2 for that small bunch of flowers in an otherwise barren area. Stark contrast there.

I think survival for the cattle here is a lot of work. These photos are so fantastic that one forgets the barrenness. I especially like the shot with the flowers in the foreground.

OC110481, their winter is without central heating, without wood (they use dry cow dungs collected through the summer), without water in the house, they break the ice outside to get the water, and the toilets are outside, over a whole. Their winters are pritty hard core.
