I'm so impressed with your ability to paint a picture with your photos. I always sense a innate respect for the dignity of each person you photograph. These particular photos almost feel like a blessing—from those in the photographs to those who look upon their pictures. thank you for sharing.

These pictures ... make me feel that we have lost so much. These elders remember ways of life that are fading. And their faces - where ever have I seen such grace?

Wow! What an incredible post!! I always wonder when I look at photos of the elderly in other environments how old they really are. Is the woman in #12 (my favorite of all) the mom or perhaps the grandma? I really wonder. Thanks so much for this incredibly beautiful series of posts!!!
