Jannie I saw him many times on T.V. and I read articles about him, and I can tell you yes, his eyes sparkles, he has an incredible sens of humour, he can laugh. I have an immense respect and admiration for him and his people.

I think it is Avalokiteshvara (Tib.: Chenrezig) - the compassionate aspect of the Buddha - traditionally he/she has 1,000 arms. Beautiful photo.
