Too soon Mademoiselle, it takes me time to get organised and I am still not happy with the result !

Better seen enlarged. I spent my Sunday trying to fix these tritons on my camera. I tried already last year but it didn't work. This time I used a very basic camera, put my feet in the water to get closer and I am quite happy with the result. It is not perfect, but it's the best I can do.

I had to look in the dictionnary to see what newts were. They are, I knew them under the name of tritons.

I am still sorry I lost my frog ! I thought there was a certain equilibrium in the nature to allow them to live next to each other !

My pond is a dangerous place, a lot of dramas happened down below. The dragonflies larvae are specially viscious

11 is by far my favourite...shows the scale of the Triton and it's very vibrantly coloured living space, whilst still attracting your eye to the creature as it catches the sun

These are incredible photos of slippery fellows. I'm amazed that you could get so many photos.

Leap, I'll follow the advise. I shall wait for the frogs to "sing" and trace them. I am sure my neighbours will appreciate ! As for the BBQ's Ribs !.... I am not sure what kind of animals it will attract !... Quite a frightning thought !
