This is a breathtaking reportage !!! I love seing women in saree just like I love seing women in "boubou" in Africa. It reminds me of a view I'll never forget of the market place in Djibouti (unfortunately no pics for you to share). Colors and colours, light material floating in the air wore by beautiful women ! They have so much pride in those outfits and it's great they kept it ! Thank you so much for this post Christine !

What I love about this set is the incredible contrast between the people and the textures and the circumstances....between the leisure and the work. The first set is full of silky, lovely colors.....and women reminding me of butterflies. The second set is more "down to earth"...both literally and figuratively.....and equally beautiful in a very different way..... This is a wonderful set!
