Cette photo est magnifique. Elle dégage tranquilité mais inquiétude de la vieille dame envers son compagnon. Puis les rideaux, les volets... tout ce que l'on ne voit plus que très rarement, ou alors dans les villages. Bravo ! This shot is splendid. It releases tranquility but, maybe, anxiety of the old woman towards her companion. Then curtains, shutters... all that we do not see any more or very seldom in the countries. Congratulations !

As always, a stunning photo Christine!! The cat lying comfortablely on the wooden shelf is what a cat does best, especially on these hot and lazy months of summer!! However the elderly lady looking out the window that is barely visible, is the main focus of this shot!! I don't think she shows any concern, but I think she wishes that she could be that cat, just resting outside in the sunshine and taking in the fresh air!! This must be enlarged to see her face - Bravo, for such an interesting and exquisite photo of the the two!!

Thank you my friends and thank you Art for your kind comments. This picture was taken in a little village where I live, not far from Geneva. They are still many villages in Switzerland which just look like this.
