We had a lot of fish funerals when Boy was young. We have a river that runs into the sea on our beach and we used to put them in and let the river take them out to sea. We would throw flowers in too. This time however, He could not let go of it. We took him to the beach and put him in, with a Daffodil I think. As he started to move away Boy suddenly panicked and ran into the river to rescue him .
"We have to take him home" he said. So we did and he was our first burial.

ClaudePechabaden You mean he moved away...he was alive? Poor fishes!!!I couldn't keep fishes at home, I always felt too guilty to see them there...Some neighbours had them and I always found thems o crual....I understand killing a ish to eat it, but to put it in a tiny glass bowl and watch it day after day... But do fish realise it? They must realise it's not much fun. booh.

caroleagle the fish was dead. The river moved him. I feel that way about keeping birds but I loved my little fish, especially gold fish. I had some in a big tank in my bedroom and when I woke up they would all swim to the nearest to me side of the tank and wriggle excitedly... It was a lovely thing to wake up to, they looked so beautiful and bright and cheerful .

ClaudePechabaden MMgg, I supposed viewed like that...I don't know, I feel sad about fish. But then if I was that sad, I wouldn't eat them in tins, which are even smaller than aquariums!
