God-dammit all my pictures are still Boring.

2009.07.31

I just went for 4 hour afternoon walk for a change and we went backwards..... as in .. we usually walk the short walk (1hr) to Tesco's and have a latte then take the long (scenic) way home (2-4hrs). Everywhere looked so different coming the other way. I had to keep looking behind me to check where we were. My favorite sandals broke bout half an hour in...... Anyway... I took LOADS of pictures (phone) and this is the only one I like today.
Net Curtains. I don't like net's but I think I could live with these.

Oh.. just remembered.. saw my first insect penis today. Not sure what insect it was. Boy spotted it and said "wtf IS THAT?" Took us a while to work out it was 2 beasties joined at the butt. Boy got a closer look and said "ooh...penis"
"No way!" says I.
But yes.

terryl I like nets, but then I live in a ground floor flat and it's a bit awkward without nets with everyone going past the front window.

The IoW net is a little "twee" maybe, but I'd be happy to live with it - it certainly stops nets being too precious.
